Shout out to a couple Winnebago Indians for being selected to the All Tourney Team in Lena yesterday! Maddy Williams and Kiah Garrigan were selected to the All Tourney Team in the “Lena Winslow Golf and Grill Classic” yesterday. Not only do they play as teammates for Winnebago, they have also played as teammates for the Rockford Heat Varsity Team this past summer!
Maddy(Class of 2016) is a 6’1” guard that plays all positions and continues to show why she is a top player, Maddy will control that ball to easily knock down a short jumper or 3 pointer! Uses her size to guard all positions. Maddy is uncommitted as of now, if colleges coaches are looking for a taller guard, you will want to get in contact ASAP! Great Job Maddy, Keep up the hard Work!
Kiah(Class of 2018) is a 5’10” guard that can also play multiple positions including on the low blocks. Has a great IQ that will generate points against taller players in the post and has the ball handling abilities of a guard. Her guard skills will help her create a shot or a gap to attach the hoop! Being only a Sophomore, she is showing that she is one of the top underclassman in the area! College coaches will want to watch as Kiah will only get better! Great Job Kiah, Keep up the hard work!
