High School Girls Fall Tryouts ANNOUNCED!
Open Tryouts for
9th-12th Grade Girls High School AAU Teams
(Tryout Grades are based off the school grade 2019-2020)
We will be holding open tryouts for 9th-12th grade girls who are interested in playing competitive basketball on a traveling team while gaining exposure to college coaches and scouts
This will be for the AAU Fall Session which runs from:
Sept 2019-Oct 2019
Rockford Heat Girls High School Teams
Where: Rockford Lutheran School, 3411 Alpine Rd, Rockford
When: August 19th,
7pm-9pm for 9th/10th/11th/12th Grade Girls
(2nd Tryout times will be held based on need.)
This Session the High School players will prepare for their high school season and play in exposure events. We will have training with Mike Jamerson to focus on fundamentals. The other part of practice will focus on fundamentals of ball handling, shooting, passing, defense, finish moves, offenses, and scrimmages. Multiple teams will be fielded during the high school Session with most players to be selected to take, anyone interested in encouraged to tryout.
Cost is $225 per player. Coaches for the High School Teams will be John Penney, Bobby Marshall, John Obryan, and others based on need.
